Type of Position: Full Time Production DBA
Salary: Up to $120K
Description:
The client located in North Jersey(Montvale, NJ) is looking for SQL DBA for production support.
This person primary responsibility will be installation, maintenance,monitoring and
support of Microsoft SQL Server 2000 2005 databases.
A future responsibility may be to administer Oracle databases.
Required Skills:
Experience supporting SQL 2000 and SQL 2005 on Windows 2000 and 2003,including systems installations
and upgrade, backup recovery, data server migration, database maintenance and support, release management,
troubleshooting, performance, tuning , developer and 3rd party product support.
Experience with the
installations and configuration of SQL server clustering features active/active and active/passive environments.
Experience with SQL server log shipping feature.
