Strong DBA skills for MS-SQL Server 2000/2005 servers in CLUSTERED (active/active) environment.
Proficiency with Backups and Recovery, Log Shipping and Replication.
Installation, Configuration and Upgrades of SQL server in High-Available environment.
Strong skills in Production Support Troubleshooting and Coordinating issues.
Performance and Tuning bottleneck analysis with process/query tuning.
Database Auditing SOX standards and Risk Mitigating Controls.
Manage MS SQL 2000 (AWE enabled) on Window 2000.
Define / Document Database Standards and Procedures Server Builds and Ops Support.
Participate in Enterprise Disaster Recovery Test.
Actively interact and resolve technical issues with Microsoft Tech Support as needed.
Work closely with development teams for in-house and vendors projects on DB integration.
On-Call DBA for overnight support.
8+ years of MS SQL Database Administration Experience.
Experience with Oracle/Sybase is highly preferable.
Good written and verbal Communication Skills.
Strong scripting skills in Windows/Unix
Salary Range: 85K-100K
