 Position #1 
 Developer(C# with HEAVY SQL backend)
 Location: Whippany, NJ
 JobType: FT/Perm 
 
 Description: 
 Exposure Management is one function within the technology shared services
 group which provides technology solutions independent of product stovepipes.
 The Exposure Manager application manages collateral, and also supports the
 Global Netting product for the front office. This market-leading solution
 optimises margin and increases capital efficiency for hedge fund trading,
 performing a portfolio-wide margin calculation reflecting cross-netted risk.
 
 Experience Required:
 At least 3 years full lifecycle development experience within a structured
 environment.
 
 Experience Preferred:
 Investment banking experience particularly OTC derivatives processing 
  
 Good attention to detail and the ability to effectively prioritise multiple
 tasks. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Understands the needs
 for control in a production environment.
 Needs to be comfortable switching between technologies as EM uses a number
 of technologies and developers are expected to work across these whenever
 possible.
 
 Languages:
 Required - C#, Strong MS SQL Stored Procedures
 Nice to Have - ASP, Visual C++, MS Reporting Services, Autosys
 
 
 
 Position #2 
 Database Developer (Microsoft SQL Server, .NET)
 Location: Redbank, NJ
 JobType: FT/Perm 
 
 Description:   
 Successful, growing fund manager is seeking an experienced Database
 Developer with Microsoft SQL Server experience to join our systems
 development team. The candidate will work closely with project managers,
 analysts, and other developers to ensure that database solutions meet
 stringent design standards, ensure optimal performance, meet business needs,
 and are scalable and reliable. The candidate should have at least three
 years of database development experience, and a solid understanding of
 database schema design, indexing, performance tuning, and configuration.
 The ideal candidate will have experience in designing optimal configurations
 for processing large amounts of data in performance-critical situations. In
 addition, programming experience with VB.NET, C#, Java, C++ or a similar
 high-level application development language is preferred.
 
 Essential Job Functions:
 -Translate logical data models into physical database structures that
  integrate with existing or proposed database structures and provide
  robustness and scalability.
 -Implement stored procedures and queries.
 -Play lead role in optimizing database performance and the optimal
  configuration and physical implementation of databases.
 -Develop database applications and libraries in .NET platform.
 
 Background Experience and Skills:
 - BS/BE in a Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or similar
   field.
 - 3+ years experience as SQL Server database developer with solid
   understanding of SQL.
 - Development experience with VB.NET, C#, Java, C++ or other
   high-level language
 - Experience with SQL Server 2005 a plus.
 - Experience with Analysis Services, Web Services, Data Warehousing,
   and/or OLAP a plus.
 - Proven analytic and problem solving skills.
 - Strong verbal and written communication skills.
 - Excellent organizational skills, teamwork, discipline and attention
   to detail.
 - Interest in finance and quantitative problem-solving.
