A Full Time Permanent SQL Server DBA with the following skills is needed.
SQL SERVER, SAN TECHNOLOGIES, PERFORMANCE TUNING/MONITORING
Description:
Evaluates designs and manages database systems in a client/server environment. Works with users to analyze requirements and defines specifications for database access, structure, functional capabilities, documentation, security, backup and recovery. Performs validation checks, maintains database dictionaries and coordinates installation of new and revised database systems.
Requires thorough knowledge of relational database systems, Structured Query Language (SQL) and working knowledge of referential integrity, triggers, stored procedures, and DTS (Data Transformation Service) packages.
Monitor and manage all of clients
• SQL Back-Up and Restores
• Database Integrity checking and re-indexing
• Maintain DTS (Data Transformation Service) packages
• Enforce database security
• Performance monitoring/tuning
• An understanding of the all operational processes run by client's Operations and the CSC processes and data delivery.
• Expertise in both SQL databases.
• Good organizational methods, problem solving skills and communications and interpersonal skills;
• Knowledge of DOS, Windows NT, NT Server and other operating systems that do or may come into use at client site.
